Bad acne was causing problems for student Mairi-Claire Bowser - but now her skin has cleared up through laser treatment.
The 20-year-old, from Dundee, was suffering from the skin condition across her cheeks, chin and forehead.
She'd returned from a gap year in Tanzania and was shocked at the condition of her skin.
Mairi-Claire explained: "I suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and my hormone imbalance had led to the acne flaring up."
Mairi-Claire went to see Karen Lamb at the Dundee Academy of Beauty to undergo treatment with Regenlite laser.
"I felt a tingling sensation," said Mairi-Claire. "It wasn't painful but slightly uncomfortable and the treatments were short. It also didn't hurt afterwards.
